SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The National Weather Service has extended the winter weather advisory for Cottonwood, Jackson and Rock counties in Minnesota and Dickinson and Osceola counties in Iowa until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. The advisories in Lyon County, Iowa, and Rock County, Minn. will expire at midnight tonight.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - A wind advisory has been issued for counties in southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa until 8 p.m. tonight, including Cottonwood, Murray, Nobles and Jackson counties in Minnesota and Osceola, Dickinson and O'Brien counties in Iowa.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The National Weather Service has again extended its winter weather advisory for southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa, as many area schools opt for a late Monday morning start.
Absolutely no travel advised
WORTHINGTON – At one point Thursday, it took three dispatchers to keep up with calls coming into the Nobles County dispatch center. A majority of the calls were asking about road closings and conditions, according to Worthington Police Captain Chris Dybevick.
