Monogram Loves Kids Foundation accepting grant applications
CHANDLER — The Monogram Loves Kids Foundation will award $240,000 to charitable organizations that sponsor programs benefiting children and their families in the eight regional areas in which Monogram does business, including Chandler.
Registered 501(c)3 public organizations interested in applying for these grants, which will range from $500 to $10,000, should visit monogramfoods.com/values/mlkf to access the application form. All applications must be mailed in to the address listed on the application by 5 p.m. May 31. All applicants must be located within 100 miles of Monogram Meat Snacks, 521 N. 5th St., Chandler.
Funding for the grants comes from the foundation’s annual fundraiser in Memphis, Tenn. In 2016, nine charitable organizations in the Chandler area received grants: Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, Murray County 4-H, The Society for Christian Instruction (Chandler Christian School), Junior Achievement of Worthington, New Horizons Crisis Center, Big Buddies of Western Community Action, Minnesota West Blue Jay Baseball Boosters, Love Inc. of Worthington and Edgerton Summer Recreation Program.
Between 2010 and 2016, Monogram has donated more than $900,000 to charities focused on children and their families.
