Free legal clinic for veterans offered Tuesday
WORTHINGTON — The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) will host a free legal clinic for veterans from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday in Room 310 of the Nobles County Government Center in Worthington.
Attorneys and other legal professionals will be available to answer questions and provide advice on most areas of law. No appointment is necessary.
The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans’ Vetlaw Program provides direct legal services through brief legal clinics across Minnesota. By partnering with legal aid and pro bono attorneys and local programs the clinics are able to provide holistic services that address both the legal and non-legal aspects of barriers to individual and family stability in housing and employment. The council is prepared to advise veterans on a variety of legal issues, both civil and criminal.
