ADRIAN -- Adrian's Matt Gades did it on the mound and at the plate for the A's Sunday.

Gades earned the victory in relief, allowing one hit in two innings, and had three hits and an RBI at the plate to lead Adrian past Tracy 5-1 in an amateur baseball tilt.

Cody Kontz started on the hill for the A's (6-5), and allowed three hits and one run in three innings.

Brandon Wolf had an RBI single for Adrian, while Jason Stubbe had two singles and an RBI. Glen Kruger added a single and drove in a run.

Adrian 13, Milroy 10

MILROY -- After taking a 4-0 lead in the top of the first, and then giving up eight runs in the bottom of the inning, the A's rallied for a victory Saturday night.

Brandon Diekmann had a rough start on the hill, but settled down and allowed just one more run in the final five innings he was on the mound.

Offensively, Adrian took advantage of eight walks and seven hit batsmen.

Diekmann had a two-run single, while Stubbe added an RBI single. Joe Kruger had a single and drove in three runs, while Gades had a pair of singles and drove in two.

Adrian will travel to Brandon, S.D. Tuesday.

Jackson 7, Fox Lake 4

FOX LAKE -- Fox Lake had the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday, but Jackson's Caleb Rossow came on in relief and retired the next two batters to preserve the Bulls' victory.

Tom Hady earned the victory on the hill, allowing three earned runs on 10 hits while striking out five in six innings for Jackson (7-3, 7-4).

Pat Boggess threw the next two and a third innings, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out two.

Kip Wachal had two hits and scored twice for Jackson, while Rossow had a pair of hits and drove in two runs in the First Nite League victory.

Jackson will be at Pipestone Wednesday.

Spencer, Iowa 4, Heron Lake 0

HERON LAKE -- The Lakers managed just three hits in a loss to Spencer Sunday.

Jared Meinders, James Anderson and Ike Rogers all had one hit for the Lakers (3-10).

Keith Rogers suffered the loss for Heron Lake, allowing three earned runs on nine hits while walking five and striking out three in six innings.

Wilmont 14, Pipestone 0

PIPESTONE -- Justin Sau-fley was nearly unhittable Sunday night as Wilmont shut-out Pipestone.

Saufley allowed no runs on two hits while walking one and striking out 13 in a complete-game effort.

Pipestone's Colin Taubert suffered the loss.

Offensively, Jay Scheidt and Jesse Teerink each had three hits, while Josh Wasmund had a pair of hits for the Cardinals (8-0).

Kent Woelber and Nathan Alfson each had a single for the A's.

Wilmont will host Heron Lake Wednesday.

Windom 8, Hadley 5

HADLEY -- Kirby Johnson threw nine strong innings to lead Windom past Hadley Sunday night in an amateur baseball contest.

Johnson allowed 10 hits and struck out five batters.

Cody Anderson had two hits, while Trent Anderson had a pair of hits and drove in two runs. Brady Lund also had a pair of hits for Windom.

Taylor Rignell had three hits for Hadley (4-4, 5-6).
