HADLEY -- Max Zwart delivered a walk-off, RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning Sunday to give Hadley's amateur baseball team a dramatic 4-3 victory against Adrian.

Mitch Magnus led off the frame with a one-out single and moved into scoring position after a single by Luke Beers, setting the table for Zwart's game-winning single up the middle.

Zwart went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run, and Magnus went 2-for-3 with a run.

Zach Bruns, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, allowed eight hits while walking one and striking out three in a complete-game effort to earn the win for Hadley.

Jordon Kontz, who suffered the loss for Adrian, struck out six and scattered nine hits in a complete-game effort. He also went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Joe Kruger and Brian Harms each went 2-for-3, and Cody Kontz had an RBI single for the A's.

Wilmont 11, Hadley 2

HADLEY -- Mitchell Jensen belted a three-run home run, and Justin Saufley struck out seven in a complete-game effort to lead Wilmont.

Jensen went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs, and Saufley allowed just two runs on seven hits while walking none to earn the win.

Saufley also went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Wilmont, which scored three runs in the second and five in the third to take a commanding lead.

Zwart, who suffered the loss, went 2-for-3 with a double and a run, and Paul Counter went 2-for-2 to lead Hadley, which scored once in both the first and second innings.

Hadley (13-5) will travel to face Minneota on Wednesday.

HERON LAKE -- Kirk McBreen went 2-for-3, and Jerrad Meinders, Matt Franks and Chad Knutson each had a hit to lead Heron Lake in a six-inning loss to Fairmont, which scored five runs in the second inning and six in the sixth.

Minneota 4, HL 3

HERON LAKE -- The Lakers out-hit Minneota 9-7 but left seven runners on base in a one-run loss.

Lucas Knutson went 2-for-4, and Chad Knutson went 2-for-3 with a double. Lon Eichenberger went 2-for-3, and both Eric Milbrath and Franks delivered a run-scoring hit.

Jerrad Meinders started and pitched five innings, allowing three runs on four hits while walking four and striking out three. Franks suffered the loss in relief.

Heron Lake (5-11) will travel to face Adrian on Wednesday.

Windom 11, Tracy 2

TRACY -- Bryce Grove allowed two runs on three hits while walking two and striking out eight in a complete-game effort to earn the win and lead Windom past Tracy.

Brad Schlomann went 2-for-5 with a double, Tyler Knutson went 2-for-4, and Kirby Johnson added a double for the Pirates, who snapped a 2-2 tie with a seven-run sixth inning.

Windom 3, SWB 2

WINDOM -- Mark Hockel scattered nine hits in a complete-game effort, allowing just two runs while striking out three and pitching around five walks to lead the Pirates to a one-run victory against the Southwest Barnstormers.

Kody Johnson went 2-for-3, and Knutson and Charlie Dunnick each had a double for Windom (12-7), which will host Fairmont on Friday.

Mike Wenninger and Todd Armstrong each went 2-for-4, and Ryan Beers went 2-for-3 to lead the Barnstormers.

Brian Price, who suffered the loss, allowed two runs -- both unearned -- on five hits while walking one and striking out two in four innings.

ADRIAN -- Jordon Kontz went 3-for-4 with two RBI, and Levi Bullerman went 3-for-6 with two RBI to lead the A's, whose late-inning rally fell short.

Joe Kruger had a two-run single, and Greg Quist and Glen Kruger each had an RBI single for Adrian, which trailed 17-4 going into the bottom of the sixth inning.
