Doors will open at 1 p.m. for early viewing of the auction items. Tickets for the event, which includes a bidding paddle, are limited, so organizers are encouraging people to purchase tickets early.

A quarter auction is a cross between an auction and a raffle, with bids costing 25, 50 or 75 cents. After bids are collected for each item, numbers are drawn and the person with a corresponding number on their bid paddle wins that auction.

The fundraising comes from the sale of tickets and the money raised from select auction items. Attendees are encouraged to bring a roll of quarters, but the coins will be available for purchase at the event.
