Amber Marten and Kevin Bergeson were married Aug. 28 at Christ Chapel, Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, with the Rev. Bob Rognlien officiating.
Parents of the couple are Susan Flesner, Worthington, Terry Marten, Mankato, and David and Lynda Bergeson, Mendota Heights.
Matron of honor was Holly Sieve. Bridesmaids were Andrea Lieser, Hannah Johnson and Karishma Brownlee. Personal attendants were Kelly Luhmann and Amy Luhmann. Flower girls were Presley Sieve, Madison Sieve and Mersaydes Marten.
Best man was Hal DeLaRosby. Groomsmen were Brian Friberg, Jason Sieve and Eric Marten. Ushers were Molly Spartz, Jason and Erica Bryan-Wegner, and Kevin Warkentien.
Music was provided by Jeni Wojahn, piano; Nick Barr, guitar; Jason Burggraff, cello; Sarah Clark, violin; and Nate Bergengren, djembe. Readers were Roxie Leckband and Stacy Lufkin.
The reception was in the Gustavus Alumni Hall with Mike and Patty Traphagen and Bill and Karen Knigge hosting.
The groom is a graduate of Luther Seminary, St. Paul, and just completed his first call as a pastor in St. Louis Park.
The bride is the 2010 recipient of the Graduate Preaching Fellowship from Luther Seminary.
Under the fellowship, they currently live in Hong Kong, China, and will complete their studies after traveling to Jerusalem, London, and Stockholm in the coming months.
