BOYS' BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Sampson, Huisken lead Southwest Christian to win
EDGERTON -- Keeran Sampson scored a game-high 23 points and Zach Huisken threw down three dunks as Southwest Christian defeated Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin 71-48 in a Red Rock Conference boys' basketball game on Friday night.
Huisken finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks and three assists for the Eagles, who improve to 10-1 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
Andrew Top scored 12 points to go with four steals, four rebounds and four assists, while Dominic Nibbelink added 11 points and Klint Knutson had nine points.
Beau Herrig scored 14 points, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out three assists for ML/B-O (10-4, 7-2).
Carter Kirk added 12 points, while Kyle Thiessen scored eight points. Isaac Hildebrandt dished out a team-high seven assists for the Wolverines, who trailed 33-21 at halftime.
ML/B-O will travel to Adrian on Monday, while SWC will host Round Lake-Brewster on Tuesday as a girl/boy doubleheader.

TRACY -- Dominic Dolan hit six 3-pointers en route to a 22-point performance as Tracy-Milroy-Balaton defeated Luverne in a non-conference game.
Shane Erickson added 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists for the Panthers (13-1), who outrebounded the Cardinals 37-18 on the night.
Joe Hook scored 13 points to go with six rebounds and three assists, while Jeremy Hoflock scored 10 points.
Brett Heronimus scored 11 points and dished out four assists for Luverne, which trailed 34-17 at halftime.
Brandon Klein scored 10 points and pulled down six rebounds for the Cardinals.
T-M-B was 5-of-8 shooting from the free-throw line, while Luverne was just 2 of 7.
The Panthers will host Marshall on Monday night.

GEORGE, Iowa -- It was a successful night for the George-Little Rock's Coaches vs. Cancer night as the teams raised $2,311 for cancer research.
However, the Mustangs weren't able to pull out a victory for the home crowd.
MOC-FV had a big second quarter, outscoring G-LR 25-5 en route to the 22-point victory.
Dean Hillbrands scored nine points to lead the Mustangs (8-8, 6-8), while Jeff Wagenaar had eight points and three steals.
Ethan Van Briesen added seven points, while Eric Schilling collected six rebounds.
Daniel Jansen scored a game-high 19 points to lead MOC-FV.
The Mustangs will host Sioux Center on Tuesday.

SIBLEY -- Sibley Ocheyedan faced only a one-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter against Sioux Center, but an 11-0 run for the Warriors to start the fourth quarter was too much for the Generals to overcome.
Brett Doeden led S-O with 20 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, and Pat Alexander contributed nine points and four assists.
The Generals (7-7) play tonight at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn.
