Brief: 'Brown Bag' program to be offered

WORTHINGTON -- The Manna Food Pantry is offering a new lunch program, Brown Bag Weekend Lunch.

The free lunch program is funded by a grant that allows the pantry to feed up to 300 students in the Worthington area. The bag includes food and milk that lasts each child the weekend.

Starting July 15, adults can come to the West Learning Center every Thursday between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and pick up a brown bag for each child in their household. To qualify for the Brown Bag Weekend Lunch program, one needs to fill out a form. Eligibility is based on income.
