MAPLETON -- Angie May Moore, 34, of Amboy and formerly of Worthington, died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on Monday.

According to a story published in the Mankato Free Press, Moore was traveling east on Main Street in Mapleton when witnesses heard a noise that sounded like a tire popping. The witnesses then saw the motorcycle wobble from side to side before it went over a curb and hit a large cement planter.

Moore, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle. She was transported to Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato, where she was pronounced dead.

Moore is the daughter of Doyle and Ruby Moore of rural Worthington. Funeral arrangements are pending with Benson Funeral Home, Worthington.
