Three Canadian men are facing felony charges amid accusations that they trashed a Moorhead hotel room last October and caused more than $1,000 in damage.

Bradley David Black, Nathan Ryan Brand and Cole Frederick Frances John Lemesuier face charges in Clay County District Court of criminal damage to property in the first and third degree.

The men told police they were arguing in the Grand Inn room last Oct. 18 but "had taken out their aggression on the room rather than each other," court documents state.

Police responding about 4:43 a.m. found broken desk broken, a metal coat rack torn from the wall, and a smashed remote control on the floor. The door leading to the adjacent room had several punch marks caved into the door. Damages are estimated at $1,025, court documents state.

Black, 27, Brand, 26, and Lemesuier, 26, all of Winnipeg were arrested after the incident. Charges in the case were filed this week. The most serious charges carry up to five years.
