Column: Bridge repairs on I-90 to begin
MANKATO — Interstate 90 motorists in southwest Minnesota are advised of daytime lane closures next week as crews build crossovers for bridge work in the area of Adrian and Jackson this summer.
Traffic will be reduced later in April to two lanes/two-way, with reduced speeds until mid-September.
The project includes work on four bridges at Adrian and four more at Jackson. Crews will repair decks, rails, approach panels and drainage, as well as paint the steel, to keep the bridges in good condition and improve the ride for the motorists. Guardrail improvements will also be made.
