Construction progress continues in Worthington
WORTHINGTON -- With so much road construction going on around town, the city of Worthington announced Thursday that one of its projects was completed earlier this week, and another will actually be completed today.
The bituminous overlay of First Avenue Southwest from west of Knollwood Drive to near Pleasant Avenue was completed Wednesday, and the ADA ramp work along 10th Street in downtown Worthington is slated to be completed today.
The Park Avenue water main reconstruction between Oxford Street and West Clary continues. Pipe work is expected to be completed Aug. 14, with pavement restoration set to begin once the pipe work is done.
Beginning as early as Aug. 14 is the storm sewer reconstruction on Fourth Avenue, from Lake Okabena to Ninth Street.
