Cooperative hosts annual meeting
WORTHINGTON -- Nobles Cooperative Electric's 2011 annual meeting for members took place March 26 at Worthington High School. More than 450 members and their families attended.
Two directors of Nobles Cooperative Electric were elected to the board of directors. Incumbent directors Richard Greve and Dick Ruiter were elected to a three-year term.
At the organizational meeting immediately after the annual meeting, Ronald Schwartau was re-elected president, Richard Greve was re-elected vice president, and Lee York was re-elected secretary-treasurer.
Nobles Cooperative Electric serves approximately 4,900 members in Murray and Nobles counties. This year marks its 75th anniversary.
