County approves $40,000 business expansion loan

WORTHINGTON -- One week after the Nobles County Revolving Loan Fund Committee met to hear a proposal by Joens Woodworking, county commissioners on Tuesday approved a request for a $40,000 loan to the Wilmont business.

Isaac Joens, owner of Joens Woodworking, plans to expand his shop with the construction of a new 4,320-square-foot shop, showroom and office area in Wilmont.
