SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Osceola County Sheriff's Office investigated a report of a two-vehicle collision with no apparent injuries at 9 a.m. Wednesday on 11th Avenue. Richard Allen Benz, 85, of Sibley, was driving a 1986 GMC Caballero southbound on 11th Avenue south of Sixth Street when he attempted to adjust his mirror and struck a legally parked 1991 Buick Regal owned by Joshua Aaron Kuester, 24, of Sibley. Benz's vehicle sustained $3,000 in damage and he was cited for failure to maintain control. Kuester's vehicle sustained approximately $2,000 in damage.

SIBLEY, Iowa -- The Osceola County Sheriff's Office investigated a report of a two-vehicle collision with no apparent injuries at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday on Northeast Sixth Street. Trinity Star Harig, 32, of Sibley, was backing a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan from a residential driveway when she struck a 1999 Ford Taurus that was parked partially behind Harig's vehicle in the driveway. Harig's vehicle sustained approximately $650 damage. The Taurus, owned by Elizabeth Ann Wasmund, 48, of Sibley, sustained $1,500 in damage.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 8:34 p.m. Wednesday to 1709 North Spring Ave. to assist a male who had fallen.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 2:29 a.m. Thursday to 1790 Collegeway to assist a female with shortness of breath and chest pain.

WILMONT -- The Wilmont First Responders and Worthington Ambulance were paged at 6:17 a.m. Thursday to 101 North First Ave. in Wilmont to assist a male having breathing problems.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 1:42 p.m. Thursday to 414 Oxford St. to assist a male having a seizure in the road.

WILMONT -- The Wilmont Fire Department was paged at 3:16 p.m. Thursday when a grinder caught fire, spread to insulation and set a house on fire.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of trespassing at 9:41 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of 11th Avenue.
