Accidents

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident reported at 6:37 p.m. Tuesday from Humiston Avenue and Family Video.

SLAYTON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated an accident at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. 59 and 180th Avenue, south of Slayton. Clinton Magnus, 30, of Slayton, was driving a 2005 Kenworth when it was run off the road by a 2011 Great Dane truck, model and name of driver unknown. The Kenworth sustained severe damage; the Great Dane sustained moderate damage.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident reported at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday from the 300 block of 10th Street.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident reported at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday from United Prairie Bank, 905 McMillan St.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident reported at 6:01 p.m. Wednesday from Wal-Mart, 1055 Ryan's Road.

WORTHINGTON -- The Bigelow Rescue Squad and Worthington Ambulance were dispatched at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday to 2760 Market St. to assist a man who had fallen.

ROUND LAKE -- The Round Lake Rescue Squad was dispatched at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday to an ATV accident near Round Lake.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department cited a driver for no Minnesota driver's license at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday at Clary Street and Marine Avenue.

READING -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office investigated a mail scam reported at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday from Knauf Avenue in rural Reading.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated possible fraud reported at 4:52 p.m. Tuesday from the 1600 block of Clary Street.
