ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at approximately 7:59 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Adams Street and South Second Avenue. Amy Borman, 35, of Rock Rapids, was driving a 2014 Dodge pickup northbound on Adams, and collided with a 2009 Chevy pickup driven by Loren Dengler, 79, of Rock Rapids, who was eastbound on South Second Avenue. Dengler was cited for failure to yield to vehicle on the right in an uncontrolled intersection. The Dodge sustained approximately $16,000 in damage, while the Chevy sustained approximately $8,000 in damage. Borman was transported to Sanford Rock Rapids with possible injuries. Assisting at the scene were the Lyon County Ambulance and the Rock Rapids Fire Department.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 7:40 p.m. Thursday to The Meadows for a male who was very weak.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 10:18 p.m. Thursday to the intersection of Second Avenue and 15th Street for a highly intoxicated adult male who was bleeding slightly from the face and laying on the side of the road. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON -—The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 8:03 a.m. Friday to JBS for an individual with a reported stroke. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON — The Bigelow Rescue and Worthington Ambulance were paged at 9:33 a.m. Friday to the 30000 block of Quine Avenue for an adult male who was not breathing.

RUSHMORE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of harassing communications involving a pair of boys on a school bus at 4:21 p.m. Thursday.

WILMONT — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of threats at 7:57 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Sixth Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a reported vehicle break-in at 7:44 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Galena Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a reported theft at 11:22 p.m. Thursday at the Super 8 Motel.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for underage consumption at 4:04 a.m. Friday at The Atrium High Rise Apartments. The ambulance was also paged because the individual was passed out in front of the building.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license at 10:06 a.m. Friday on South Shore Drive, near Linda Lane.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated the reported theft of a mountain bike at 2:14 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Clary Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated the reported theft of a laptop at 2:53 p.m. Friday from the Minnesota West Community and Technical College library.

ROUND LAKE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated the reported theft of a vehicle at 3:33 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Second Avenue.
