Mugs and insulated bags are not welcome gifts for new book club members in the Friends of the Library book club. Instead, they are premium gifts that will be offered to adults who read 12 or more books in the Nobles County Library’s adult winter reading program, which runs from Jan. 1-March 31. Accidents

WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Sheriff’s department investigated an accident at 9:13 p.m. Sunday on Highway 60.

JACKSON — The Minnesota State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an accident at 7:15 a.m. Monday on Highway 71. A 1996 Buick Lesabre, driven by Pamilyn Tracey, 62, of Jackson, collided with a road grader, driven by Gregory Ahrens, 57, of Jackson. Tracey’s passenger, Samuel Tracey, 61, of Jackson suffered non-life threatening injuries. The other two were not injured.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 8:25 a.m. Monday to the Alternative Learning Center for a male with a seizure.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 12:14 p.m. Monday to Minnesota West Community and Technical College for a male having a seizure.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 3:21 p.m. Monday to 1800 South Shore Drive for a female with chest pains.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of theft at 10:10 a.m. Monday at Marks Towing and Repair.
