BIGELOW – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated an accident reported at 5:40 a.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Nobles County 4.
HARRIS, Iowa – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigated an accident reported at 7:55 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Iowa 9 and White Avenue. A 2000 GMC operated by Tomas Gabriel-Ramos, 28, of Okabena, and owned by Susue Cortez of Little Rock, Iowa, was traveling eastbound on Iowa 9 and following a 2005 Pontiac operated by Eleazar Morales, 22, of Worthington, and owned Israel Morales of Worthington. The Morales vehicle spun when going to turn southbound and lost control, which in turn caused the Gabriel-Ramos vehicle to collide with it. Morales was transported to Lakes Regional Hospital, Spirit Lake, Iowa, by the Osceola County Ambulance, Ocheyedan, Iowa. Both drivers were cited for no driver’s license and no insurance. The Ocheyedan Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
WORTHINGTON – The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a rollover accident reported at 9:56 a.m. Monday on Interstate 90.
JACKSON – The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a one-vehicle accident reported at 1:50 p.m. Monday on U.S. 71 near milepost 7. A 2006 Freight Conventional operated by Jennifer A. Roach, 41, of Appleton, was traveling southbound when it lost control and went into the ditch. Roach sustained a non- life-threatening injury.
WILMONT – The Wilmont Rescue Squad and Fulda Ambulance were dispatched at 5:34 p.m. Sunday to 14272 Knauf Ave. for a male experiencing breathing difficulty.
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 12:33 p.m. Monday to The Meadows to transport an adult female who had fallen.
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for driving without a valid license at 6:03 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Humiston Avenue and Ray Drive.
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department investigated damage to property reported at 9:25 a.m. Monday from Tru Shine Truck Wash.
