Accidents

GEORGE, Iowa -- The Lyon County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle crash at 11:03 a.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of 190th Street. Ethan D. Christians, 17, of George, was operating a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix when he lost control of the vehicle due to road conditions. He entered the north ditch, causing approximately $2,300 dollars in damage to the vehicle. Christians was not injured.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a car vs. sign crash, and the car was partially in the ditch, at 1:32 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Lucy Drive and Diagonal Road.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department responded to the scene of a trailer that had come loose from a truck at 4:34 a.m. Monday at Minnesota 60 and Oxford Street.

Ambulance

BREWSTER -- The Brewster Rescue and Worthington Ambulance were paged at 3:37 p.m. Sunday to 825 Seventh Ave., for an adult male with severe chest pains. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 8:35 p.m. Sunday to Ecumen/The Meadows for a male who had fallen and had hip pain. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for instruction permit violation at 2:38 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 10th Avenue and McMillan Street.
