Accidents

LEOTA — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated an accident reported at 4:22 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Ahlers Avenue and 140th Street. The Leota First Responders and Leota Rescue Squad were dispatched to the scene, as were the Edgerton Ambulance and Luverne Ambulance.

BREWSTER — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a rollover accident reported at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. 59 and 210th Street. A 2001 Ford Ranger operated by Matthew B. Thiner, 31, of Fulda, was rear-ended by A 2006 GMC Sierra operated by James R. Gehl, 57, of Dundee, sending the Ranger rolling and into the ditch. Thiner suffered a non- life-threatening injury, while Gehl had no apparent injuries. The Brewster Rescue Squad and Worthington Ambulance were both dispatched to the scene.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident reported at 12:10 p.m. Saturday from the 1800 block of Oxford Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident reported at 12:28 p.m. Saturday from the Arby’s parking lot.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident reported at 1:29 p.m. Saturday from Sunset Park.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident reported at 1:05 p.m. Sunday from the Minnesota 60 roundabout near Nobles County 33.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 9:38 a.m. Saturday to the Homestead Cooperative for a male who had fallen out of bed and was having difficulty breathing.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 6:44 p.m. Saturday to the Cenex convenience store to transport an elderly male who had fallen.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated shoplifting reported at 6:53 p.m. Friday from Walmart.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license at 10:02 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Oxford Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an adult female for driving after suspension and issued a warning for lane violation at 2:22 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Nobles County 35 and Oak Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated threats reported at 5:02 p.m. Saturday from the 800 block of Winifred Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated shoplifting reported at 6:53 p.m. Saturday from Walmart.

RUSHMORE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated the theft of money reported at 9:02 p.m. Saturday from the 23700 block of Knauf Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department arrested an adult male for a domestic incident and interference with a 911 call at 11:43 p.m. Saturday from the 1100 block of Oslo Street.

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lisa M. Bolan, 35, of Rock Rapids, on Saturday for an outstanding warrant out of Lyon County following a call regarding a possible domestic situation at the intersection of Adams Street and Iowa 9. Bolan is currently out on bond.

ROCK RAPIDS. Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Anita Hoting, 51, of Little Rock, Iowa, on Saturday on a Lyon County warrant.
