Accidents

WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a car-deer accident with injuries at 3:55 p.m. Sunday in the eastbound lane of Interstate 90, west of Worthington. Cindy L. Burdine, 46, of Port Angeles, Wash., was driving a 2004 Subaru Impreza. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Sanford Worthington Medical Center. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a motorcycle accident at 4:15 p.m. Sunday on Sherwood Street. The motorcycle hit a patch of gravel and slid. The rider was not wearing a helmet.

SLAYTON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a one-vehicle accident at 12:44 p.m. Monday at Pete's Corner --U.S. 59 and Minnesota 30. Robert N. Pottratz, 31, of Tyler, was driving a 2007 Volvo semi pulling a tanker, when it ran off the road and rolled. Pottratz was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Sanford Health Murray County Medical Center, Slayton. The truck sustained severe damage.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 5:30 p.m. Sunday to 1621 Fairway Lane to assist a male having trouble breathing.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 6:25 p.m. Sunday to 1538 N. Spring Ave. to assist a female who had fainted.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 6:30 p.m. Sunday to 1931 Summit Ave. to assist a female who had blood squirting from her foot.

WILMONT -- Wilmont Rescue and the Worthington Ambulance were dispatched at 7:24 p.m. Sunday to 22730 Nobles County 25 to assist a female having a seizure.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 11:06 a.m. Monday to Okabena Towers, 212 12th St.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 2:22 p.m. Monday to 1311 Douglas Ave.

Police

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated damage to a vehicle reported at 9:12 a.m. Monday from Schwalbach Ace Hardware.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a burglary reported at 9:20 a.m. Monday from Auto Tech, located across from Shine Brothers.

Births

Terrance Jr. and Cally Balling, Lakefield, are the parents of a boy, Tayven Terrance, born May 28 at Sanford Worthington Medical Center. Grandparents are Gaylord and Pam Kemp, Alpha, and Terrance Balling Sr., Lakefield. Great-grandparents are Ivan and Joyce Dorschner, Jackson, Gail Kemp and Geraldine Balling, both of Lakefield.
