Accidents

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose G. Solis, 33, and Cody A. Zimbelman, 24, both of Rock Rapids, on Friday for their roles in an April 27 altercation. Both Zimbelman and Solis were charged with serious assault, a serious misdemeanor. Both parties were released from jail on signature bonds.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident reported at 4:30 p.m. Friday from Marthaler Ford.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run vehicle-vs.-building accident reported at 8:13 p.m. Friday from the intersection of 12th and Sherwood streets.

LISMORE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two-vehicle accident reported at 4:04 p.m. Saturday from East Fourth Street between South Third Avenue and South Fourth Avenue.

ELLSWORTH — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one-vehicle accident reported at 6:52 a.m. Sunday from 1½ miles north of Ellsworth.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 8:08 p.m. Friday to 808 10th St. for an ill infant.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 10:01 a.m. Saturday to Karl’s CarQuest Auto Parts for a male who was dizzy and experiencing numbness on one side of his face.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 11:07 a.m. Saturday to 1538 N. Spring Ave. after a male had reported his wife was crying.

LEOTA — The Leota First Responders were dispatched at 11;10 p.m. Sunday to 11804 111th St. for an unresponsive 86-year-old male. Pipestone County was contacted for the Edgerton Ambulance.

Fire

BIGELOW — The Bigelow Fire Department was dispatched at 8:19 a.m. Saturday to 33887 King Ave. for a house fire. The Sibley, Iowa, Fire Department and Round Lake Fire Department were also dispatched for mutual aid.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Fire Department was dispatched at 2:29 p.m. Saturday to 1535 Darling Drive for a stove fire.

Police

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for driving after revocation, no seat belt and small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle at 9:34 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 12th Street and Seventh Avenue.

WILMONT — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a possible assault reported at 11:49 p.m. Friday from the Wilmont Liquor Store.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a residential burglary alarm reported at 6:23 a.m. Saturday from the 1600 block of South Shore Drive. There was glass breakage in the family room.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license at 2:20 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Clary Street and Omaha Avenue.

ROUND LAKE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a verbal domestic reported at 10:12 a.m. from Rohrer Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated harassing communications reported at 3:01 pm. Sunday from the 700 block of Ninth Avenue.
