WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a crash at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday in a parking lot in the 600 block of Oxford Street.
LARCHWOOD, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on Thursday on A-18. Linette Groeneweg, 26, was driving a 2006 Chevy Impala eastbound on A-18 when she lost control due to snow and slush on the roadway. Her car slid sideways into oncoming traffic, and was struck by a 2002 Pontiac Montana driven by James Anderson, 51. Both drivers were transported to Sioux Falls, S.D., hospitals for non-incapacitating injuries. The Impala sustained $10,000 in damage, while the Montana sustained $7,000 in damage. Assisting at the scene were the Larchwood Fire and Rescue and Lyon County Ambulance.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an adult female for driving after suspension and issued a warning for no seatbelt at 1:51 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of First Avenue and 16th Street.
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for dog at large at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Lake Avenue.
