Accidents

LITTLE ROCK, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident Monday in the 4400 block of 130th Street, two miles northwest of Little Rock. A 2002 Volvo truck and trailer operated by Cory Peters, Little Rock, was backing up on a private drive when it struck a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle owned by Ean Holdings LLC. There was no damage to the Volvo; the Volkswagen sustained approximately $4,000 in damages. No injuries were reported.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 8:55 p.m. Monday to 901 Johnson Ave. for a male who was bleeding after surgery.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 5:46 a.m. Tuesday to 13707 Second Ave. for an individual having difficulty breathing.

Police

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated vandalism to a vehicle reported at 4:58 p.m. Monday from the 900 block of Eighth Avenue.

SIBLEY, Iowa — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jake John Eledge, 26, of Harris, Iowa, on Monday for alleged assault. He was charged with domestic abuse assault, a simple misdemeanor. He was transported to Osceola County Jail and held on a $300 bond.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a possible theft reported at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday from ABC Seamless Siding.

RUSHMORE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a theft reported at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday from the corner of South Ludlow Avenue and Buffalo Ridge Road.
