Accidents ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle rollover at approximately 5:35 a.m. Friday on Hark Boulevard, near Harding Avenue, approximately one-half mile north of Rock Rapids. Jacob W. Kwikkel, 28, of Rock Rapids, was eastbound on Hark Boulevard when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. His 2003 Ford Focus entered the ditch and rolled once. The car sustained approximately $7,500 in damage. There were no injuries.

WOODSTOCK — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle, broadside crash at 11:12 a.m. Friday on Minnesota 30 and Pipestone County 18. Involved was a 2010 Buick Lucerne driven by Bruce Berg, 64, of Storden, and a 2012 Ford F250 driven by Frank Jones, 24, of Waterloo, Iowa. Berg was eastbound on Minnesota 30 and Jones was southbound on Pipestone County 18 when they collided. Berg, along with two passengers, Donald Scovill, 91, of Storden, and Merlin Hansen, 77, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Jones, along with a passenger in his vehicle, Tommy B. Jones, 15, had no apparent injuries. Assisting at the scene were the Woodstock Fire and First Responders and Pipestone Ambulance.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department responded to a reported crash in the Family Video parking lot at 6:04 p.m. Friday.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit and run reported at 6:09 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Sherwood Street.

Ambulance WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 4:52 p.m. Friday to JBS for a man with a diabetic issue. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 5:46 p.m. Friday to 1101 Sixth Ave. for a male who fell down the basement steps. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 1:23 a.m. Saturday to 1620 Clary St. for a female with a reported nervous breakdown. The patient was transported.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 7:51 a.m. Saturday to 1027 Liberty Drive for a man down.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 2:32 p.m. Saturday to 1790 College Way for a female who was weak and ill.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 6:15 p.m. Saturday to 1801 College Way for a dehydrated male.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 10:28 a.m. Sunday to Sunshine Apartments for an adult female with breathing difficulties and problems with her oxygen unit. The patient was transported.

Police WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license at 11:13 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Milton Avenue and Dover Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department arrested an adult male and adult female for fifth-degree possession at 4:18 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of 12th Street and First Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for driving after revocation at 7:12 a.m. Saturday on Nobles County 35, near Oak Avenue.

ROUND LAKE — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of theft by fraud at 8:27 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Amy Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department warned an adult female for driving around the barricades at 6:40 p.m. Saturday near Graham Tire off Oxford Street.

WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious people at 9:14 p.m. Saturday in the 32500 block of 244th Street. A car had backed into one of the buildings on the property, and two people “talking” in the vehicle were warned for trespass.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited an individual for no Minnesota driver’s license and no proof of insurance at 9:36 p.m. Saturday at Burger King.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department arrested an adult male for giving a false name to police officers at 2:46 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of North Spring Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a report at 1:30 p.m. Sunday of a male in the Sanford Medical Center emergency room who had been stabbed Saturday night.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a report at 3:24 p.m. Sunday of damage to a boat and jet-ski in the 200 block of Lake Street.
