Dean appearances rescheduled
WORTHINGTON -- Speaker and teen culture expert Jeffrey Dean will give presentations at several area schools on Wednesday. Dean's presentations, sponsored by Helping Hands Pregnancy Center, were cancelled in December and January due to inclement weather.
Dean will speak to students at 8:15 a.m. at Round Lake School; 10 a.m. at Southwest Star Concept School, Okabena; and 1 p.m. at Murray County Central, Slayton;
A "Plugged-In Parenting" seminar will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington High School. Dean will meet with parents and students from 6 to 7 p.m. The students will then participate in a pizza party from 7 to 8 p.m. while Dean talks to the parents. This is a faith-based presentation.
