Death and dying course in Windom
WINDOM --The Windom Education & Collaborative Center (WECC) will offer an educational seminar about hospice care from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in WECC Room 10 at the Business, Arts and Recreation Center, 1012 Fifth Ave., Windom.
Titled "Beyond Kubler-Ross: New Perspectives on Death, Dying and Grief," this evening course has been developed by the Hospice Foundation of America. As a DVD presentation, it includes a panel of seven exceptional national practitioners, scholars and experts who will discuss the latest thinking around death, dying, grief and loss since the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross era.
This class is being made available and co-sponsored by the Ridgewater College Continuing Education Program in Willmar. Continuing Education Unit certificates for 2.5 CEUs will be given out to all participants who attend the course. There is a fee.
