From 1 to 10 p.m. Friday, there will be motorcross racing. A sidewalk chalk contest takes place from 4 to 5 p.m. on Main Street, with registration taking place in front of NAPA.

Saturday begins with breakfast -- a sausage and pancake feed from 7 to 10 a.m. at the city park -- sponsored by the Edgerton Ambulance and Fire Department.

The Dutch Fun Run, which includes a 5K and 10K run, as well as a 5K walk, starts at 8 a.m. The kids pedal pull begins at 10 a.m. at the city tennis courts, with children aged 4 to 10 years old competing for trophies.

The soapbox derby begins at 11:30 a.m. at Mill Hill; registration for the car show starts at noon, with the show running from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Main Street; and 3-on-3 basketball starts at noon in the junior high gym. There is a swimming event at the city park at noon, with free swimming from 2 to 4 p.m.

The fishing contest at Rock River Park is open to kids age 14 and younger, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The contest runs from 2 to 4 p.m. For those who would rather bounce than fish, the children's inflatables will be open in the city park from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The main event Saturday night at the city park is Great Frontier Bull Riding, which begins at 8:30. At approximately 10 to 10:30 p.m., a fireworks display will be at the city ball field.
