Sunny Days has openings
WORTHINGTON -- Sunny Days Preschool has openings in the 12:15 to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday class beginning this September.
The program is at First Covenant Church and is open to all children ages 33 months to pre-kindergarten.

Educators invited to professional development event
Area educators are invited to attend a professional development training from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 17 at Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Worthington. The speakers will be Bonnie Davis and Mary Kim Schreck, Educational consultants from Education for Change out of St. Louis. Davis will present "How to Teach Students Who Don't Look Like You: Culturally Relevant Teaching Strategies" and Ms. Schreck will present "You've Got to Reach Them to Teach Them". Davis will be speaking in the Fine Arts Theater and Schreck will speak in the Commons Each presenter will have copies of books they have authored available for purchase. Substitute teachers, paraprofessionals and other educators are welcome to attend, along with faculty from NCIC member school districts. Certificates of attendance will be provided.
The training is sponsored by the Nobles County Integration Collaborative.
