'Adventures' puppet show set

WORTHINGTON -- The Nobles County Integration Collaborative is sponsoring a puppet show presentation by Teatro del Pueblo for first- and second-grade students in the collaborative area.

The programs will be Wednesday and Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

H-LP students selected for choir

STORM LAKE, Iowa -- Seven Harris-Lake Park middle school students have been chosen to attend the 33rd annual Northwest Iowa Choral Directors Association Junior High Honor Choir on Tuesday in Storm Lake.

Students Skylar Cudmore, Morgan Eggers, Mikaela Heikens, Brittany Hibma, Alexandra Luitjens, Kole Ruml, Javier Tapia and Brady Van Iperen will rehearse throughout the day along with students from 45 schools across northwest Iowa. They will present an evening concert under the direction of Joel Johnston.

The public is invited to attend the concert at 6 p.m. in the Storm Lake High School gymnasium.

Zylstra accepted to Luther College

DECORAH, Iowa --Annie Zylstra, Sibley, Iowa, has been accepted for admission for the 2011-12 academic year to Luther College.

Zylstra received a Regent Scholarship.
