Elevator group elects leadership
MANKATO -- The Minnesota Grain and Feed Association, which represents the country grain elevator and feed mill industry in Minnesota, elected its 2010 leadership at the 103rd annual meeting, hosted in conjunction with the MGFA Annual Convention and Trade Show, in Mankato.
Nearly 500 Minnesota country grain elevator and feed mill managers, owners, co-op farmer directors and exhibitors attended the trade show to hear speakers discuss industry topics. The convention included presentations by John Johnson, CEO of CHS, Inc., Matthew Rose, CEO of BNSF Railroad and Rep. Tim Walz.
Re-elected to 3-year terms on the Board of Directors were Larry Olsen of Jackson, Lyle Hovland of Rothsay and Brad Stenzel of Matawan. Wes Cole of Hanley Falls was elected president, Dave Reiffenberger of Bellingham as vice-president, Hovland as secretary and Olsen as treasurer.
