Alissa Johnson and Thadd Fosdick were married Aug. 4 at First Presbyterian Church, Luverne, with the Rev. Terry Morse officiating.
Parents of the couple are Denice and Mike Dirks, Luverne, Randy and Ann Johnson, Ashton, Iowa, and Harry and Lisa Fosdick, Chenoa, Ill.
Matron of honor was Jenea Sweeter. Bridesmaids were Amanda Radke, Cassidy Woodard, Mariah Fosdick and Micaela Fosdick. Junior bridesmaid was Emily Krier. Personal attendants were Corey Bosch, Kayleesue Labor and Laura White.
Best man was Kyle Knauth. Groomsmen were Nathan Hicks, Rob Bruce, Ryan Johnson and Chad Kinser. Ushers were Josh Krier, Luke Krier and Logan Fosdick of Forrest.
Music was provided by Laura Heidbrink and Jessi Whetham.
The reception was at the Forster Community Center, Rock Rapids, Iowa.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of South Dakota State University. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in agribusiness at Illinois State University.
The groom is a 2010 and 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois. He is currently employed as a farm manager with Farmers National Company.
They live in Normal, Ill.
