EDGERTON -- Brianna Spronk had 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals Tuesday night to lead Southwest Christian's girls' basketball team to a 59-41 victory over Fulda.

Jada Vander Veen had 15 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals, and Abby Hanenburg had 10 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists. Kayla Broekhuis added seven rebounds and four steals for the Eagles, who won their ninth consecutive game and swept the regular-season series with the Raiders.

Lane Gehl scored eight points, and Mari Holinka and Amy Paulzine each added seven to lead the Raiders, who committed 26 turnovers.

SWC (16-4, 13-2) will host Adrian on Thursday.

Fulda (12-10, 9-6) will host Edgerton on Thursday.

OKABENA -- Putting 11 players in the scoring column, Southwest Star Concept held off Round Lake-Brewster in a low-scoring contest.

The Quasars (9-13, 7-8) worked to leads of 32-13 and 39-15 early in the second half before the Raiders (5-17, 1-14) rallied by outscoring SSC by an 18-10 margin in the game's last nine minutes.

Betsy Voehl and Katey Granstra topped SSC's scoring chart with 11 and 10 points, respectively, while Michaela Rasche (five rebounds) and Cassie Cselovszki (four assists) each tallied five points.

Granstra blocked six shots, pulled down eight rebounds and passed for a trio of assists, while Erika Post (four points) snagged six rebounds, and Jenna Leopold (three points, three steals) claimed five rebounds for the Quasars, who play at Butterfield Thursday against Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin.

Seven girls scored for RL-B, including Ally Cross who netted a team-high eight points. Karen Schmitz (six), Kim Wiese (five), Olivia Stanton (five) and April Wallace (four) combined for 20 Raider points, while Ceilia Schmitz swished a 3-pointer and eighth-grader Sara Baumgard scored her first two varsity points.

RL-B plays Red Rock Central at Jeffers Thursday night.

BUTTERFIELD -- Kate Robinson had a double-double to lead Murray County Central past Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin.

Robinson scored 14 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead MCC, while Emily Bose scored 13 points, and had six steals and five blocks.

Alyssa Schmidt and Colleen Everson each scored 10 points.

For ML/B-O, Megan Svalland scored 12 points and had six rebounds, while Jennie Romsdahl and Brittany Wenner each scored six points.

Karen Herrig had seven rebounds for the Wolverines, who will host Southwest Star Concept Thursday.

JEFFERS -- Cierra Nickel scored 20 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists to lead Red Rock Central to a conference victory.

Krystle Sell scored 15 points in nine minutes, before leaving the game with an injury.

Steph Maras added 10 points, four rebounds and five assists, while Thea Engen scored 11 points and pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds for the Falcons (19-3, 14-1).

Audra Schmidt led Westbrook-Walnut Grove with 18 points, 11 rebounds and four steals, while Chanel Madson added 12 points.

Molly Jarmer scored 10 points for the Chargers (11-11, 5-10), while Kylie Erickson dished out six assists.

Kassandra Jarmer had six rebounds, while Christie Hoffman had four steals.

RRC will host Round Lake-Brewster Thursday.

HILLS -- Racheal Steffl scored 14 points, and Alyson Drooger added 13 points, 15 rebounds and five assists to lead Edgerton past Hills-Beaver Creek.

Katie Hadler added six assists for the Flying Dutchmen, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Heather Kerner had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead the Patriots (2-18, 2-13), who will host Ellsworth on Thursday.

Edgerton (10-10, 7-8) will travel to face Fulda on Thursday.

LUVERNE -- Liberty Robinson had 20 points, five assists and five steals to help the Cardinals snap a four-game losing streak.

Meghann Stanley added 10 points and nine rebounds for Luverne, which led 27-20 at halftime.

Alii Holt scored 12 points to lead the Eagles, who suffered their ninth consecutive defeat.

Luverne (8-14, 2-10) will host Adrian on Friday. Windom (7-16, 3-9) will travel to face Tracy-Milroy-Balaton on Thursday.

ADRIAN -- Erica Thier scored a game-high 34 points to lead Adrian to a conference victory.

Karli Meyer added 13 points, while Katy Slater scored 10.

Sam Lynn scored seven points and dished out 10 assists and had 10 rebounds for Adrian, which will travel to Southwest Christian Thursday.

Brooke Kix and Andrea DeBoer each scored 10 points for Ellsworth.

Emily Timmer had five assists, while Leah Timmer had five rebounds.

MARSHALL -- Bailey Bouman scored 25 points, and Bree Woelber had 14 points and eight assists to lead Pipestone Area to its fourth consecutive win.

Megan Vanderpoel added 12 points for the Arrows, who led 30-17 at halftime.

Kayla Wallerich scored 17 points to lead Marshall (3-19, 2-10).

The Arrows (17-3, 9-2) will host Martin County West on Saturday.

GEORGE, Iowa -- Katelyn Wiertzma scored 19 points to lead George-Little Rock to a convincing victory in the Class 1A, Region 1 quarterfinals.

The Mustangs will face Akron-Westfield on Friday at Akron.
