SANBORN -- Dana Madson fired a medalist round of 38 Monday afternoon, helping the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers to a low team score of 183 in a Red Rock Conference high school boys' golf triangular with Red Rock Central and Southwestern United.

Taylor Lindaman (44), Reed Bakken (48) and Trey Kockleman (53) completed the scoring for W-WG.

RRC had a team score of 197, with Brandon Sohre's round of 44 leading the way. Darren Kronbach, Casey Engen and Jesse Polk had rounds of 50, 51 and 52, respectively.

SWU had a score of 200, with Logan Ellenbecker (47), Clay Salzwedel (50), Kyle Wendland (51) and Collin Meinders (52) carding solid rounds for the Wildcats.

In girls' action, W-WG's Abby Herding was the medalist with a score of 50. The Chargers won with a low score of 231, as Avoree Bakken (56), Kelsi Wahl (60) and Paige Erickson (65) also contributed.

RRC had a 234 and was led by Makayla Meier's round of 56. The Falcons were well-balanced, as Kylie Redenius (58), Jaycee Nelson (59) and Kate Hagan (61) were not far behind.

SWU's Kailey Wendland fired a round of 52.
