Good Ole Summertime features entertainment, parade, car cruise-in
SIBLEY, Iowa -- The good ole favorites are back for this weekend's Good Ole Summertime celebration in Sibley.
"Our big thing is the parade in the afternoon," said Sibley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Amy Smith. "We have a folk singer that will be performing right on main street here, so people can either sit around and listen to the music or they can walk around and look at the cars and the motorcycles."
A community church service originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been repurposed into a gospel concert, with three Christians groups slated to perform in Central Park. Most events will be on Ninth Street in downtown Sibley.
Here's a sampling of the events; the full schedule is available online at www.sibleyiowa.net/index.php.
