The multi-media type class covers a variety of topics, and includes two CDs and a simplified technician manual.

The technician license allows individuals to operate above 30MHZ and use all of the two meter repeaters sprinkled throughout southern Minnesota. With a repeater, you can use a handheld radio and talk 50-60 miles.

Interested individuals should contact Rod Byam at rdbyam@windomnet.com for more information or to register for the class. There is no fee for the class, however a charge must be assessed for the test.
