On the backside of the 28-team tournament for the Trojans are Jeffrey Comacho (132), King Blanchette (138), Cody Michelson (145), Tony Rogers (152) and Peter Abraham (220).

Dawson-Boyd/Lac Qui Parle/Montevideo held a slight lead over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunberg in the team race after the first day of Redwood Valley’s tournament. Wrestling continues today at 9 a.m.

“We had a good first day and had opportunities for all 12 of our wrestlers to make it on to the second day. That didn’t quite happen, but we had kids picking up wins in wrestlebacks,” Trojans wrestling coach Mark Prunty said. “For them to get wins in wrestlebacks, that shows their hard work is paying off.”
