Icy conditions result in four-car accident on I-90

WORTHINGTON —  The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a four-vehicle accident at 1:27 a.m. Wednesday in the westbound lane of Interstate 90 at milepost 43.

A 2005 Jeep Liberty was westbound when the driver lost control on the icy bridge and was struck by a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer, which also struck a 1997 Toyota Camery. The Camery then struck a 2004 Buick Regal. The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched to the scene.

One person, Ariet Oman, 24, of Worthington, a passenger in the Lancer, was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

No information was available on the drivers of the vehicles.
