Inner Fashion features coastal styles

WORTHINGTON -- Those fashionistas searching for the latest in L.A. fashions need look no farther than 10th Street.

Inner Fashion, located in the former Miss Emily's Store, stocks women's clothing, purses and earrings in a variety of styles and colors. Large pink handbags, graphic T-shirts and neon orange jeans line the walls, and new fashions are shipped from California frequently.

Owner Edgar Lopez, a Round Lake resident, decided to open the store last summer. He has an easy pipeline for his merchandise; father Baloys works at Los Angeles-based factory Alexander Company, which manufactures the clothes.

Lopez said all his inventory sells equally well.

"We sell almost all the stuff. I'm getting all the new styles every two weeks," he said, adding the prices are inexpensive. "We try to not put it too high."

Lopez's high-school-age daughters Briana and Jasmine also work at the store, dressing the mannequins and arranging inventory.

Inner Fashion is located at 210 10th St. and is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The phone number is 376-9098.
