Jackson County's Rubis receives state award
ST. PAUL -- Jackson County Commissioner Craig Rubis received the Association of Minnesota Counties' (AMC) 2008 President's Award Dec. 8 in Duluth.
The award was given to Rubis as an individual with a deep history of public service to the community and his or her county. Rubis was selected due to his service, extensive involvement with and longtime commitment to his county, the AMC stated.
Rubis will retire after 16 years on the Jackson County Board of Commissioners.
