John Davidson to perform tonight at Memorial Auditorium

WORTHINGTON — The fourth concert of the season for the Worthington Concert Association will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center.

The concert will feature John Davidson, star of stage, television, film, nightclubs and recording. Davidson is best known for hosting “That’s Incredible,” “The New Hollywood Squares” and “The John Davidson Show” and for his Broadway work in musicals such as “Camelot,” “The Music Man,” “Oklahoma,” “Ragtime” and “State Fair.” Most recently, he assumed the role of the Wizard of Oz in the hit Broadway musical “Wicked.”

His 50th anniversary tour features popular love songs, a John Denver medley with guitar and a banjo medley of 1930s songs.

Admission to the concert is by season membership. However, anyone purchasing a membership for next year’s concert series can attend this concert.

Members who renew for the 2014-2015 season at or before the concert will be eligible for a drawing for two CDs and two adult memberships.
