Letter: Cooperative serves more than schools
The SW/WC Service Cooperative is proud to announce the recent signing of a contract with Windomnet in Windom to provide on-call support and monitoring services for their Internet Service Provider operations. Windomnet is located in Windom and provides phone, internet and cable services. The SW/WC Service Cooperative's IT Department will be responsible for providing support and monitoring of Windomnet's routers and core network servers as well as on-call support in case of emergencies.
The Redwood County Soil and Water Conservation District has also signed on with the SW/WC Service Cooperative to provide full technology coordination services for their organization. The SW/WC Service Cooperative's IT Department will be responsible for rebuilding the SWCD's network from the ground up and providing support and management of their IT needs.
This is a great example of how the SW/WC Service Cooperative not only works with school districts, but also city, county and other governmental agencies. Technology coordination services are just one of many programs and services provided by the SW/WC Service Cooperative, with offices in Marshall, Windom, Willmar, Pipestone and Montevideo.
