Minnesotans should be proud of the exceptional progress made in our state over the past three and a half years.

Our exemplary way of getting things done does not happen in other states, especially South Dakota, where I currently attend college. On day two of Mark Dayton’s term as governor, he signed an executive order to allow the Minnesota to opt in to Medicaid. South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard refuses to accept this federal money, which is costing his state’s people health care coverage on the federal dime and instead paying for it with state dollars.

Gov. Dayton led the charge to get the new Super Bowl-hosting Vikings stadium in Minneapolis. Dayton opened the gates for committed loving couples to marry, female and male alike.

Please join me in supporting a governor who stands for the common man, fairness and justice and growth. Let’s remain the nation’s model of progress, and I believe Mark Dayton is the man to continue the march.
