Letter: Donations appreciated at local food shelf
Worthington Minnesota 300 11th Street / P.O. Box 639 56187

The Worthington Christian Church Food Shelf would like to express our appreciation to all the wonderful support the community gives us throughout the year.

In the last few months we have been involved in the Minnesota Food Share March drive, the Alan Feinstein drive, and the post office food drive. We would like to thank all the various individuals and churches that donate in either money, food, or their time. We would also like to thank the various businesses and organizations such as Agstar, Fareway, Hy-Vee, JBS Swift, Lions Club, Nobles Cooperative Electric, Nobles County Farm Bureau, Nobles County Soybean Growers, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and United Way. We would not be able to feed those in need if it wasn't for your generosity.

We would like you to know that with summer coming up, we also welcome all fresh produce. Maybe you could plant an extra row in your garden for us.

If you have any questions about the food shelf or what you can do to help, feel free to call me at 360-9726. If you know anybody that needs help, they can either call me or come to the food shelf at 1501 N. Douglas, Monday-Friday, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., or Tuesday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m. God Bless.
