Letter: Manna Food Pantry appreciative of support
By Linda Sanchez, Manna Food Pantry Coordinator, Worthington
We would like to thank the young men and their families of Boy Scout Troop No. 134 for all of the efforts you have put forth to once again conduct your annual food drive here in Worthington and Brewster. Scott Hunt and all of the others involved did an awesome job again this year.
Many thanks also to the residents of the Worthington and Brewster area. Your contributions are well received & appreciated.
The Manna Food Pantry received a large variety of grocery items totalling 1,059 pounds. With the donations, we can give the needy many more selections and some items that we usually don’t have on hand. They do receive this with many thanks.
With your support, you are making an impact in the fight against hunger in Nobles County. Kudos to Boy Scout Troop No. 134 and the area residents.
Thanks, also, to the many volunteers that help out each day. Without you the pantry would not be what it is today. Anyone interested in volunteering and helping to put smiles on faces of the needy are invited to call 370-1190.
