Letter: Obama sues state he vowed to represent

Let me see I've got this straight: Federal Judge Susan Bolton has declared that it is unlawful for the state of Arizona to enforce its own laws. Doesn't that sound quite oxymoronic?

Section 4 of Article IV of our Constitution states: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in the Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion."

An intelligent reader of the Constitution could conclude that the president has been derelict in his duties to protect Arizona from invasion. Moreover, the president has sued the state. In accordance with the Constitution that gave Arizona its republican form of government, the people's representatives have enacted a law to resolve the problem of the illegal invasion of their land, their liberty, their possessions, their economy and their very lives. Once again, an imperialist, activist, leftist judge has undermined the will of the people.

Should Arizona secede? When the federal government abrogates the Constitution by refusing to protect its citizens from harm and goes so far as to take legal action against them, it may be time for said state to seriously contemplate that very question.
