Letter: Racism still thrives in parts of country

I am watching a movie this morning. It was about the harsh treatment of the Indians in the 1800s. That hasn’t changed much.

This morning I received a phone call at 4:30 a.m. from my friend in Mississippi about the racism. It is no better than 1800s. My friend has been treated the same as the old days.

She left her phone on and recorded this happening between the so-called law and a black woman. Her lawyer recorded the conversation they had.

I am going to stir up the racists of Benton County, Miss., and awaken the world and USA to what is really happening right under our noses. has opened communication to where it can’t hide any more.
