Letter: Shopping can be tough with too many choices

I purchased a new car last fall — a Ford — and it has another different oil filter.
If I was younger, I’d run for Congress and get a law passed. These oil filters would only be three sizes — small, medium and large. The oil filter shelf is getting as bad as the cereal shelf.
I’d also take a good look at these batteries. I think it’s nuts to have all of these different sizes.
